It is required by law that Fire Risk Assessments are carried out where premises are expected to be visited by the public. We deliver courses in basic fire awareness and fire warden training. Risk Assessments by Fire Logistics Ltd are undertaken by qualified, experienced staff. We also offer the opportunity to try out the newly learned skills and procedures during our practical training sessions.

Fire Risk Assessment

In 2006, Fire Safety Law changed, making it the responsibility of the owner of all businesses to have a Fire Risk Assessment done on any premises that either the public are likely to visit or where 5 or more people are employed.

In Depth Fire Risk Assessments – By a Fully Trained Fire Officer

There are so many differing variations and opinions on what the Fire Risk Assessment should include. Also, unfortunately, many people are offering this kind of service when they have not been trained sufficiently. Customers are then presented with a report that enforcing authorities will not accept. We have seen evidence of Fire Risk Assessments that are little more than a 10 page tick box list, with superficial recommendations at the end.

Our Fire Risk Assessments are detailed documents, professionally constructed by a fully trained fire officer, a recognised expert in the field. The recommendations in the Assessment are well considered, aimed at keeping people safe.

A practical training session is also included in this course which will give delegates an opportunity to use fire extinguishers or fire blankets on a live fire scenario. All delegates on completion of the course will receive a certificate of attendance.

This course is specifically designed for delegates who have a supervisory role in managing fire safety in the workplace on a day to day basis.
